In the heart of Ginza 6-chome, a district infused with culture and art, the Ginza Museum Building has come to life. On its eighth floor, HEADSTARTS has designed the interiors of the members-only piano bar HYGGE GINZA.

The name HYGGE derives from a Danish word meaning “a cozy and comfortable time or space.” It embodies the owner’s wish for every guest to enjoy moments of true ease. HEADSTARTS gave form to this vision, creating a space that resonates with the cultural vibrancy of Ginza.

Grounded in authentic gravitas and the lustrous presence of a grand piano, the design is layered with the warmth of wood and the tactile richness of natural materials such as plaster, aiming to create a space where classic and modern sensibilities harmonize and quietly fulfill the heart.

At the entrance, the graceful sound of the piano greets guests alongside the Ginza night view, while the bar counter’s armrests were carefully shaped and angled to ensure comfort even over long hours.Rounded forms are woven throughout the design to evoke a sense of embrace and softness. More than decorative, these gestures embody hospitality through design—offering gentle companionship to each guest and creating moments that remain in memory.

In dialogue with the city of Ginza, the result is a special place that leaves guests with a lingering sense of resonance and exhilaration.

銀座6丁目 文化とアートの薫りが漂う街並みに誕生した「銀座美術館ビル」。その8階フロアに、HEADSTARTSがインテリアデザインを手がけた会員制ピアノバー「HYGGE GINZA（ヒュッゲ ギンザ）」がオープンしました。

「HYGGE（ヒュッゲ）」とは、デンマーク語で“居心地の良い時間や空間”を意味する言葉。そこにはオーナーの「訪れるすべてのゲストに心地よいひとときを届けたい」という想いが込められています。HEADSTARTSはその想いを、銀座という都市文化と響き合う新たな空間として形にしました。

オーセンティックな重厚感とグランドピアノの艶やかな存在感を基調に、木の温もりや漆喰などの自然素材を重ね合わせ、クラシックとモダンが共鳴する心まで満たされる空間を目指しました。

エントランスでは、グランドピアノの優雅な音色と銀座の夜景がゲストを迎え入れ、バーカウンターのアームレストは、寄りかかる姿まで想定し、長時間でも快適に過ごせるようフォルムや角度を丁寧に設計。
さらに、丸みを帯びたフォルムを随所に取り入れることで、包み込まれるような安心感とやわらかな印象を演出。これは単なる意匠ではなく、ゲスト一人ひとりに寄り添い、記憶に残る体験を生み出すための「デザインとしてのホスピタリティ」です。

銀座の街と呼応しながら、訪れる人に余韻と高揚感をもたらす。そんな特別な場を実現しました。
