Conceived around the idea of “spending an inspiring yet unhurried weekend with close friends,” the store evokes the atmosphere of a friend’s holiday house—a place where time slows, conversation flows, and curiosity is quietly awakened.

The interior unfolds through a sequence of scenes—garden, kitchen, living, bath, study, and closet—each defined by subtle transitions in materiality, light, and tone, offering a spatial journey that feels both familiar and refreshing.

On the exterior, modern ceramic tiles are laid using the same method as traditional brickwork, expressing the brand’s philosophy of “Fusion of Old & New”—a thoughtful re-mixing of traditional and modern elements.
This dialogue between heritage and modernity welcomes visitors into a space that celebrates both comfort and creativity in everyday life.

自由な大人のための新しいライフスタイルを提案する新業態、Afternoon Tea LIVING ReMIX が新宿FLAGSにオープンしました。

「次の週末を、仲の良い友人たちと刺激的に、そしてゆったりと過ごす」をテーマに、“友人の別荘［holiday house］” をイメージしてデザインを手掛けました。

ガーデン、キッチン、リビング、バス、スタディ、クローゼットといったシーンが連なり、素材や光、色調の変化によって空間が穏やかに移り変わる構成としています。
歩みを進めるごとに、新鮮さと心地よさが交錯する体験を楽しめる設計です。

外装には、伝統的なレンガの代わりにモダンなセラミックタイルを同じ積み方で採用。
ブランドの哲学である “Fusion of Old & New” ― 伝統と現代のリミックス を象徴的に表現しました。
ヘリテージとモダンの対話が生み出す、創造性と心地よさに満ちた空間です。
