Afternoon Tea LIVING ReMIX, a new lifestyle concept designed for free-spirited adults, has opened at Shinjuku FLAGS.

Inspired by the idea of “spending an inspiring yet unhurried weekend with close friends,” the space was designed around the theme of “A friend’s holiday house.”

Beginning from the garden and flowing through the kitchen, living, bath, study, and closet areas, the spatial composition unfolds like a stage sequence—each scene turning gently, as if leafing through the pages of a script.
As visitors move through the space, they encounter a subtle interplay of freshness and quiet exhilaration, evoking a sense of uplifting anticipation with every step.

For the façade, modern ceramic tiles were used in place of traditional brickwork, expressing the brand’s philosophy of “Fusion of Old & New”—a re-mixing of traditional and contemporary elements.
This dialogue between heritage and modernity gives rise to a space filled with creativity and a refined sense of uplift.

自由な大人のための新しいライフスタイルを提案する新業態、Afternoon Tea LIVING ReMIX が新宿FLAGSにオープンしました。

「次の週末を、仲の良い友人たちと刺激的に、そしてゆったりと過ごす」をテーマに、“友人の別荘［A friend's holiday house］” をイメージしてデザインを手掛けました。

ガーデンから始まり、キッチン、リビング、バス、スタディ、クローゼットといったエリアが舞台シーンのように、台本をめくる様に穏やかに移り変わる空間構成としています。
歩みを進めるごとに、新鮮さと高揚感が交錯する体験を楽しめる設計です。

ファサードには、伝統的なレンガの代わりにモダンなセラミックタイルを採用。
ブランドの哲学である “Fusion of Old & New” ― 伝統と現代のリミックス を象徴的に表現しました。
ヘリテージとモダンの対話が生み出す、創造性と高揚感に満ちた空間です。
