A Second House in the Heart of Tokyo.

Carefully unfolding the owner’s vision of a second home as a “personal oasis within daily life,” the project embraces Tokyo Relax as its spatial concept—combining comfort with a sense of uplift. From overall spatial planning to the design of each individual piece of furniture, the residence was conceived as a total design.

The dining chair was developed through repeated prototyping to achieve a balance of compact form and sofa-like comfort, offering ease of sitting for extended periods without fatigue.

Beyond this, every element—from the dining table, window-side daybed, and desk, to the beds in each bedroom, table lamps, and the entrance console table—was custom-designed as bespoke furniture.

Unified details featuring soft arcs were incorporated across all pieces, creating a gentle sense of cohesion throughout the space. The result is an uplifting retreat where time flows with restorative ease, offering a release from the everyday.

都心のセカンドハウス。

オーナーが思い描くセカンドハウスならではの “暮らしの中のオアシス” を丁寧に紐解き、居心地の良さと高揚感を兼ね備える「Tokyo Relax」を空間コンセプトに据え、空間構成から個々の家具デザインに至るまでトータルで計画しました。

ダイニングチェアは、コンパクトでありながらソファのようにくつろげる、長時間座っても疲れにくい座り心地の良さを追求し、試作を重ねました。

そのほか、ダイニングテーブルや窓辺のデイベッド、デスク、各ベッドルームのベッド、テーブルランプ、エントランスのコンソールテーブルに至るまで、すべての家具をオートクチュールで設計。

各アイテムにアール形状を伴う共通ディテールを施すことで、空間全体にやわらかな一体感を生み出し、日常を離れた癒しの時間が流れる高揚感溢れる場所となりました。
